Want to learn about Lancaster County’s earliest history and share your knowledge with others? Consider becoming a volunteer tour guide at the 1719 Museum! The 1719 Museum seeks community members to guide tours of the Herr House and Lancaster Longhouse in the spring, summer, and fall. Volunteers are asked to commit to attending all four training sessions and at least one tour date per month.

The 1719 Museum tells the stories of Lancaster County’s Indigenous peoples and earliest European immigrants. This is a four-session training course held on Saturday mornings: January 27, February 3, February 24, and March 2.

All sessions will be held at 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., with the exception of Session 2, which will be extended in length (exact timing TBA).
