Instructors: Lynn Sommer & Jim King

Learn the Pennsylvania German folk art of fraktur painting using traditional colors and designs. Then grain paint a frame to display your art.

This four-hour workshop will be held exclusively online via Zoom.

Participants paint the provided bird and tulip design with Lynn Sommer during the first two hours

Then grain paint a picture frame with Jim King in the final two hours.

Skill level: Beginner. No experience necessary.

Mennonite Life will provide the frame, glaze, and prepared design on watercolor paper.

You need a comfortable, well-lit space in your home to join the other participants online.
