Mennonite Life Community Room

Mennonite Life hosts author and photographer Donald Kautz as he takes participants on a journey on the historic waters of the Conestoga River. Special guest Benton Webber, Lancaster Township municipal engineer and president of the Manheim Township Historical Society, co-hosts the presentation at the Mennonite Life Collections Building on Millstream Road.

Admission is complimentary. You may purchase Kautz’s book The Conestoga River: A History at the event. The author will sign books after the presentation.

The Conestoga River meanders about sixty miles through the fertile farmlands of Lancaster County in southeastern Pennsylvania until it empties into the Susquehanna River. Learn about its rich history and efforts to conserve this crucial natural resource during a compelling presentation of fine art photography.
