The Mennonite Life Visitors Center hosts an interactive Tabernacle Kit Workshop for families and small groups.
The workshop will provide an educational and hands-on connection to the story of the tabernacle as it is described in scripture. The event will begin with a complimentary viewing of the Biblical Tabernacle Experience. Participants will then construct a model of the structure from wood and cloth. All materials and instruction will be provided. This event is ideal for families, small groups, and Sunday school classes. Recommended group size is 2–4 people per kit.
The tabernacle kits are a local collaboration, including wooden structures made by local teacher Daniel Lapp.
Price for this workshop is $30 per kit (paid at registration) plus a $10 workshop fee for each participant, to be paid on the day of the event.
The Mennonite Life Library is open on from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on March 22. Stop in before the workshop!
